Joe Franklin Hurst

Joe Franklin Hurst, 71 of Paragould died Thursday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Joe was retired from Darling Store Fixtures and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Naamen and Ettie Gould Hurst, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Linda Ann Hurst of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lennie Hurst of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, LaVonda and Bruce Benson of Rector. Grandchildren, Farra Risinger and husband Josh, Sarah Hurst, Chelsea, Breanna and Madison Benson. Great grandson, Will Risinger. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00-9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Rick Boling, Kevin Edgar and Junior Vester officiating. Burial will follow in Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Pallbearers will be, Pete and Terry Simpson, Wayne Hurst, Gary Thomas, Danny Jernigan and Brad Benson. Honorary pallbearers will be, Dave Tierney, Lester Oglesby, Junior Reeves, Frank Dunigan, Dwayne Hagood.
