Joan Davis

Joan Davis, 67 of Paragould, died Saturday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a Christian and a member of the 1st Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Emerson Electric. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis, parents, Homer and Edith Walker Hightower; brother, Johnny Hightower; sisters, Mildred Dachs, Wanda Robinson, Donna Smith and Clara Wheat. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Marla and John McCord of Paragould; sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Stephane Davis, Larry Davis and Mike and Sherry Davis all of Paragould; sisters, Geraldine Steimel , Nelda Pulley, Diane Kincaid and Brenda Eveland all of Pocahontas. Grandchildren, Zachery and Sarena McCord, Aubree McCord, Tyson, Trase, Josh and Mackenzie Davis, Lyn Wilson; great grandchildren, Hayden Grace McCord, soon to arrive, Bentlee McCord, Chloe Brown , Zac and Alec Wilson. Special friend, Francis Mitchell. Many, many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rayburn Formon officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the 1st Free Will Baptist Church.
