Jimmy D. Brooks, Sr.

Jimmy D. Brooks, Sr., 70, of Rector, passed away Sunday in Jonesboro. He was retired and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was the son of Lorene Brooks and the late CJ Brooks. He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Jerry and Jesse Brooks; and sister, Joyce Cline.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Brooks, Rector; sons, Jimmy Dale Brooks, Jr. of Rector and Larry Brooks of Paragould; step children, Franklin Clark, Brian Clark, David Clark, and Lana Lovins; grandchildren, Forrest Brooks, Makayla Brooks, and Airel Brooks; great grandchildren, Pasiley Brooks and Emilee Byrd; and sisters, Shirley Jones and Victoria Meilke.

Visitation is Thursday from 1:30-2:30 pm at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside funeral begins at 3 pm at Pine Log Cemetery.
