James Jefferson "John" Raley

James Jefferson "John" Raley, 88, of Paragould, passed away Saturday at Cabot Heath and Rehab in Cabot. He was born in Paragould and retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service. John was an Army veteran of the Korean war and was the son of the late Howard and Anna Straub Raley and was also preceded in death by six siblings.

Survivors included his wife, Elnore (Lane) Raley of the home; two daughters, Laura Raley of Little Rock and Carol Smith of Cabot; son, Brian (Staci) Raley of Maumelle; grandchildren, Lucy Holifield of Little Rock and Joshua Raley of Maumelle.

Funeral mass will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Stephen Mallanga officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
