James Franklin Maddox

James Franklin Maddox, 76, of Paragould, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1937 in Paragould, the son of the late C.B. and Dorothy Byrle Davis Maddox. He was also preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Colt Maddox. James attended Shiloh United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife: Joan Maddox of the home; sons and daughters-in-law: James David Maddox of Bridgeview, IL, Paul Jeffrey and Cathy Maddox of Delta Junction, AK, Michael Edward and Lisa Maddox of Worth, IL; sisters: Mary Carr, Mildred Fleeman, Dottie McAllister; brother: Edward Maddox, all of Paragould; grandchildren: Sarah, Beth, and Andrew Maddox. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 12:00 PM, Thursday, with Reverend David Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.
