James David Forkum

James David Forkum, 64, of Paragould, died Thursday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born on August 29, 1949 in Paragould to the late Melvin Jack and Francis Harrison Forkum. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Forkum. James was a Tool and Die Maker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He is survivors by his wife, Debbie Forkum of the home; sons, Kelly and Corey Forkum of Paragould; grandson, Keifer Forkum of Paragould; sisters, Pat Allen of Paragould and Kay Roust of Russellville, AR. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00-1:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Marion Gramling officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lyndel Erwin, Levi Pillow, Anthony Baird, Johnny Cole, Roger Bobo and Ken Freeman. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
