James "Chief" Schenck, Jr.

James "Chief" Schenck, Jr., 39, of Paragould passed away Monday. He was born in Derby CT and was a member of IBEW Union 1516 electrician and worked for Big River Steel Mill in Osceola. He loved playing pool and placed third in the country in the APA Pool League. He also loved football, bowling and Star Wars. He was the son of the late James Wykliffe Schenck, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Jenifer of the home; son, James Wykliffe Schenck, III of the home; mother, Priscilla Farren Schenck of Paragould; brother, Chris (Angela) Sorrentino of Paragould and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 11-2 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2 with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Garden Cemetery

Pallbearers will be Bryan Norvell, Jeremy Armstrong, Gerard Conners, Tim Blagg, Wesley Phenis, and Brian Drennen.
