Henry Edward "Bud" Manuel, 66, of Paragould, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Advanced Care Hospital of White County in Searcy. He was born February 5, 1945 in Keiser, Arkansas the son of the late James William "Bill" and Della M. Edlemon Manuel. He was also preceded in death by sister Lottie Vallance and brother, James Andrews. He was retired from Emerson Electric Company, was a member of Mountain Home Church Of Christ and coached softball for several years. Survivors include his wife, Loui Manuel of the home; children: Tammy and Steve Stewart, Laura Sterling and Dennis Elrod , all Paragould, Becky and Jay Ritsmon of Manila, Michael and Bridgett Manuel of Paragould; siblings: Billy and Betty Manuel of Olive Branch, MS, Bob and Shirley Manuel of Munford, TN, Tressie Gray of Somerville, TN, Beatrice and Gene Mears of Arlington, TN; grandchildren: Cody and Whitney Stewart, Jeremy Brown, Michelle and Erica Woodhouse, Tyler and Mallory Ritsmon and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Funeral Home, 10:00 AM, Monday, with Emmett Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Randy Mosley, Kevin Breckenridge, Marty Vallance, Robert Mears, Steve Goins and Donnie Clayton. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry King and Greg King. Memorials may be made to Children's Home of Paragould, 5515 Old Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450.
