Harold Eugene Reed

Harold Eugene Reed, 78 of Paragould died Friday at VA Medical Center in Memphis. Harold was a retired bridge carpenter and a member of the Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Joyce , 2nd wife, Mamie, parents, Thomas Arl and Esther Chasteen Reed, brothers, Sheral, Grimsley and Doyle Reed, sisters, Mildred Reed and Lola Wyatt. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Mark Reed of Vail, CO, Tony and Kim Batey of Maumelle, AR; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Barker of Paragould and Lisa and John Abanathy of Sikeston, MO; brothers Ralph Reed of Welsh, LA, Thelbert Reed of Dearing, GA and Dwight Reed of Paragould; sister, Wilma Lemonds of Marmaduke, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Gerald James and Eddie Gene Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Grace Baptist Church of the American Cancer Society.
