Glenda Matheny

Glenda Lorene Matheny, 70, of Paragould, died Sunday, November 16 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Glenda was born to the late Pete and R.B. (Kitchens) Hale in Marmaduke. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rose Hale; and brothers, Rodney and Calvin Hale. Glenda is survived by her husband, Doyle Matheny of the home; daughter, Kimberly Forkum of Paragould; grandsons, Kyle (Sydni) Watkins, Hunter Watkins and Keifer Forkum all of Paragould; great granddaughter, Penelope Jo Watkins; brothers, Max Hale, Cletus Hale, Lanny Hale all of Paragould; and sisters, Etta Mae Janes of St. Louis, Mary Fae Flynn of Lake City, Beatrice Bishop, Reba Howe, Tabbie Crockett and Peggy Beasley all of Paragould. The family will receive friends Wednesday at 1pm at Heath Funeral Home. The service will be at 2PM Wednesday with Wayne Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Blake Bishop, Kyle Watkins, Derek Watkins, Ed Oden, Skip Wiggington and Mason Shipman.
