Glenda Mae Gramling

October 22, 1946 — February 17, 2009

Glenda Mae Gramling, 62, of Paragould died Tuesday at her residence. She was born October 22, 1946, to the late Alvin R. and Helen Hecox Smith. She was a retired Inspector for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department and a member of the Southside Community Church. Glenda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Tarry; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Christine Gramling; grandchildren, Max Brown, Brandon Gramling, Joshua , Micah and Andrew Tarry, and Christopher Gramling, all of Paragould; brother, Butch Smith of Durango, Colorado; sister, Linda Crain of Garden City, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Southside Community Church on Thursday at 10:00 am with Reverend Charles Stoddard officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-9 pm at Southside Community Church. Heath Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Bryan Gramling, Shorty Gramling, Dennis Risinger, Joe Forsythe, Kenny Jones, and Randy Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Bernard's Hospice.
