George Hunt

George E. Hunt, 78, of Rogers, formerly of Paragould, passed away Friday. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his dog, Tish. He was the son of the late George and Ethel Mae Hunt.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Tim and Karla Hunt of Rogers; grandchildren, Amanda Bryson Hunt of Little Rock and Collin Hughes Hunt of Memphis; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Ruth Hunt and William Logan of Lake Jackson, TX; nieces, Sarah Susanne Zaozirny and Dr. Lori Hunt Logan-Short; one great niece; three great nephews; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30-3 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 3. Burial is in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Scott Gramling, Kelly Gramling, Steve Powers, Craig Hunt, Chuck Davis, and Scott Smith.
