Gayle Englebert Meise

Gayle Englebert Meise, 95, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020. He was born on August 16, 1925 to the late John and Magdalene Walsh Meise in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Gayle was a United States veteran who served in World War II, the Marines and Army Air Force Corps.

Survivors include his wife Lucy Meise of the home; two sons, Jerry Meise and Wendell Meise; two step-sons, Don Neldon and Samuel Martin Neldon; sisters Patricia Kimball, Ramona Bahr, Marion Yelk, Judy Waichman and Alice Hawley; eight grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at White Church Cemetery in Woodruff County.
