Franklin D. Williams

Franklin D. Williams, 79 of Paragould (Beech Grove Community) died Thursday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was a long time member of the Beech Grove United Methodist Church and had served as Sunday School Superintendent for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myrtle Eva Terry Williams; brothers, Silas, James W. and Paul Williams; sisters, Perley Fegan, Lucy Maynard, and Marie Russom; granddaughter, Jacquline Kent. Survivors include his wife, Macy Williams of the home; sons, Steven M. (Pamela) Williams of Marmaduke and Frank (Jackie) Williams of Beech Grove, AR; brother, O.C. Williams of Jonesboro. Grandchildren Dawn (Greg) McGarraugh, Jimmy (Holly) Williams and John Williams; great grandsons, Brody Travis and Jackson Travis. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Michael Blanchard and Paul Horner officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
