Evert Donald Cross

Evert Donald "Don" Cross, 71 of Paragould died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Advanced Care Hospital in Searcy. He was born on October 28, 1937, in Cardwell, MO. Don was the owner and operator of Cross Backhoe Service and a member of the New Bethel Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Flois and Sally Louella “Davis” Cross; brothers, William Verlon Cross, Lewis Flois Cross, Jr., Virgil Wayne Cross, Garland Cross; sisters, Macel "Nicks" Cross, Agnus "Barnett" Cross. Survivors inlcude sons and families, Donnie, Debbie, Shane and Dawn Cross of Hermann, MO and Rick, Darla, Amber, Rusty and Levi Cross of Paragould; sisters, Francis Staley of Michigan and Maxine Drope of Oklahoma; brother, Bon Cross of Cardwell, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell, MO with Revs. Leland Dement and Arthur Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery.
