Edwina Risinger

Edwina V. Risinger, 82, died Saturday, February 13, in Schwartz Creek, MI. She was born October 10, 1927 in Cardwell, Missouri to the late John O. and Lillie Mae Jennings Farmer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Risinger, brothers, Robert, Orval and Junior Farmer, sisters, Marcella Schubert, Juanita Smith, Gladys Simpson and Wonzola Stewart. She was a wife, mother beautician and domestic engineer. Survivors include her sons, Rookie and Scott Risinger; daughter, Stacey Mercer Basham; grandchildren, Christopher Risinger, Jathan and Gabriel Mercer; great grandchildren, Payton and Eva Risinger. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 17. Interment will follow at Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Risinger, Gabriel Mercer, Asa Farmer, Dennis Risinger, Denny Risinger, Bud Malone and Dean Basham. www.heathfuneralhome.com
