Edna May Hendrix, 89, of McDougal, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. She was born on June 2, 1933, to the late Esco and Martha Pence. Edna was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, canning vegetables, playing cards, and dominos. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esco and Martha Pence; husband, Darrell Hendrix; daughter, Brenda Schniedermeyer; brothers, Bobby and Jerry Pence; and sisters, Hazel, Mae, Shirley, Sharron, Alice, and Susie.


Edna is survived by her children, Travis Mooneyhan of Lafe, Lance Mooneyhan of Marmaduke, Dennis (Lillie) Mooneyhan of Marmaduke, David (Rosalie) Mooneyhan of Piggott, Roger (Rose Mary) Mooneyhan of McDougal, Raymond Mooneyhan of McDougal, Carol (Tony) Liles of Lafe, and Sharion (Raymond) Criffield of Bangor, Michigan; brother, Charlie Pence; sister, Matilda Russell; 28 grandchildren; and 60 great grandchildren.


The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11am at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 11am with Rev. Rob Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dennis, Lance, David, Anthony, and Nathan Mooneyhan and Andrew Criffield.
