Dorothy was born on June 17, 1926 in Marmaduke, AR, and passed away December 10, 2011 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was married to Harold Prevett in Dayton, Ohio on June 11, 1949. They retired in Paragould, Arkansas after living in Michigan for 34 years. She was a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church, and a former member of the Paragould Trellis Garden Club and the Arkansas Methodist Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include her children, Ron and Cathy Prevett of Grand Blanc, MI, Diane Lawrence of Northville, MI, Tim and Shelly Prevett of Grand Blanc, MI, Renee and Howie Miller of Highlands Ranch, CO, Teresa and Dale Vereen of Little River, SC, Carla and Mitch Miller of Tequesta, FL and Candice and Kevin Rawls of Paragould, AR. She is also survived by two sisters, Laverne Taylor of Marmaduke, AR and Audrey Richardson of Paragould, AR. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buren and Mary (Ferguson) Wright, her husband Harold Prevett in 2002, two brothers, Leonard Wright and Armond Wright, her sister Willodean Park, and her granddaughter Julie Ann House. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 6-8 pm at the Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas. Her celebration of life will be held at Browns Chapel on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10am with Reverend Royce Boling officiating. Burial will take place following the service at the Browns Chapel Cemetery.
