Dorothy Loretta "Woodson" Taylor

Dorothy Loretta "Woodson" Taylor, 83, of Stanford, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Walnut Ridge. She was born on December 12, 1928 in Greene County. She was retired from Ely Walker Shirt Factory. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cloys Woodson and Raymond Taylor, her parents, Ray Cox and Bernice Griggry, and her brother, L.R. "Dusty" Cox. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws: Barbara and Carol Rice and Beverly and Greg Vines, all of Stanford; brothers: Ira Cox of Walnut Ridge and Bob Cox of Cherokee Village; grandchildren and their spouses and great grandchildren: Stacey and Seasons Rice, Blaine and Blayre; Heath and Chrissy Vines, Kayli, Alex, and Emily; Jaime and Stacy Edrington, Dylan, Abbey, and Jacey; Steven and Jodie Vines, Bridger, Caleb Ryleigh, and Conner. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated 3:00 PM, Wednesday, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Sam Stewart and Reverend Marion Gramling officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials May be sent to Stanford Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey and Chris Grimes, Bufford and Conrad Newberry, James Blankenship and Chris Faulkner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stacey and Blaine Rice, Stacy and Dylan Edrington, Heath Vines, Steven and Bridger Vines, Larry and Wayne McKinney, Mike McKinney, W.M. Manley, Paul and Jerry Manley.
