Dorothy Ethel Steed

Dorothy Ethel Steed, 76, of Paragould, died, Monday, August 27, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born September 7, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Carl and Ora Crow Zorn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Steed, son, Donnie, grandson, Stephen Sims, siblings, Robert Zorn, Mary Avery, Carl Zorn, Charles Zorn, Loretta Russell, Donnie Zorn, Lena Zorn, George Zorn and Gloria Steed. She was a homemaker who loved crafting, crocheting, camping, anything outdoors and taking care of her family. She was a member of Stonewall Community Church. Survivors include her children: Russell and Kathy Zorn of Paragould, Tracy and Larry Seago of Tishmongo, MS, Dawn and Mike Farmer of Marmaduke, Diane and Terry Songer of Paragould, Leroy and Pamela Steed of Paragould, Micki and Terry Cox of Sugar Hill, Georgia; brother, Richard Zorn and sister, Madilyn Overman, both of St. Louis, Missouri, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two expected great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Stonewall Community Church with Reverend Gary Holcomb, Reverend Sally Shepard and Reverend Terry Songer officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery.
