Dorothy Aline Nutt

January 17, 1923 — June 7, 2015

Dorothy Aline Weaver Nutt of Paragould passed away Sunday, June 7, at the age of 92. Dorothy was a member of First United Methodist Church. She retired after 36 years of service as a buyer for Belks. She was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Nutt; parents, George Allen Weaver & Minnie Lee Weaver; three brothers, Hershel Weaver, Melvin Weaver, and Leon Weaver; and two sisters, Myra Lockwood and Earline Napier. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Don & Sheila Nutt; one granddaughter, Holly and Erick Stokes; and two great grandsons, Blaine & Hayden Stokes, all from Paragould. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:30-1 at Heath Funeral Home with the funeral immediately following with Rev. John Fleming and Rev. Michael Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Weaver, David Weaver, Gary Napier, Tim Napier, Bob Bratton, and Erick Stokes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Wooldridge, Jim Burgess, Kenny Weaver, Blaine Stokes, and Hayden Stokes. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and St. Mary's Catholic School.
