Dorothy Alecia Bauer

Dorothy "Dot" Bauer, 83, of Paragould, passed away Monday at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Albert and Recea Brumett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Carl Bauer; brother, Robert Brumett; and sister, Martha Long.

Survivors include her son, Brad (Donna) Bauer of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Caleb, Mandi, and Eli Bauer; sisters, Doris Johns and Albertine Rogers, both of Paragould; special nephew, Greg Adkerson; special great nieces, Bethany Moss and Kalee Adkerson; special great nephews, Joshua and Cameron Adkerson; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday evening from 5:30-7 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Wednesday at 10 AM at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Caleb and Eli Bauer, Terry Rogers, and Greg, Joshua, and Cameron Adkerson.
