Dennis Allen Johnston, Jr.

Dennis Allen Johnston, Jr., 44, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. He was born on June 1, 1977, to Dennis, Sr. and Dianne Johnston. Denny graduated from Greene County Tech in 1997. He married Suzanne Moody on April 17, 1998. Denny worked in sales for A2Z Signs. He loved racing, and he spent many hours on a drag strip and a dirt track. He had an interest in anything with wheels. Denny loved going to car shows and swap meets (events where you could swap auto parts needed for vehicles). He also loved to rebuild cars. There were a number of cars that Denny rebuilt. Denny was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leroy and Ellere Johnston; maternal grandfather, James Dawson; maternal grandmother, Van Lou "Dean" Pierce; and an infant brother.

Denny is survived by his wife of 24 years, Suzanne Johnston; daughters, Vanessa and Sarah Johnston; parents, Dennis, Sr. and Dianne Johnston of Paragould; brother, Kevin (Emily) Kibler of Blue Earth, Minnesota; sisters, Sonya (Jeff) Huffmaster and Patsy Johnston of Paragould; honorary brother, Toby Moore of Paragould; nieces, Latasha Jones, Jessica Huffmaster, Shelby Huffmaster, Shania Bassett, Tanisha Haynes, and Natalie Moore; nephews, Scotty Huffmaster and Blake Moore; and several more family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life is Tuesday at 10am at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Gramling officiating. Burial is in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers are Nick Abbott, Toby Moore, Phillip Cox, Conner Cox, Cody Smith, and Keith Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are Marty Reed, Alex Abbott, and Kris Lloyd.
