Danny Lee Martin

Sgt. Danny Lee Martin, 58, of Paragould passed away Sunday at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Dan was a retired veteran of the USMC, Public Relations Officer for the Greene County Wildlife Club, host of the Northeast Arkansas Artifact Show, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, devoted husband, loving father, proud “Paw” to his “Baby Girl,” and a friend to all who met him. He was the son of the late William Dan Martin and late Lola Mae Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Shelby Martin, Paragould; daughter, Danita Martin-Morley, Paragould; granddaughter, Kaylee Morley, Paragould; sisters, Carol Ivey, Brigham City, UT and Deb Martin, Paragould; niece, Lynda Griffin of Paragould; as well as an extensive list of family and friends.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Friday, December 16th from 3pm to 8pm at the Reynolds Park Building. The family requests that those wishing to honor Dan make donations to the Greene County Wildlife Club, contact Jack Cox (870) 239-1368
