Charles Eldon Mcclellan

Charles Eldon McClellan, 82 of Delaplaine died Thursday at his residence surrounded by family. Charles was a retired truck driver, a member of the Delaplaine Baptist Church and a Viet Nam veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Charles and Sally Margaret Moore McClellan, a sister and half-sister, brother and half-brother.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy McClellan of the home.; son, Charles Donovan (Toni) McClellan of Louisville, Ky; daughters, Leta Taylor of Delaplaine and Anita Vannatta of St. Louis; sister, Margaret Hartman; special friend Dan Tweedy; grandchildren Jason McClellan, Joshua (Kelly) McClellan, Bitttany (Tyler) Mooney, Jennifer McClellan, Cody Motsinter, Jarrod McClellan and Shauna (Jay) Throesch and 9 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Jones Ridge Cemetery with David Stallings and Terry Phipps officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the giver’s choice.
