Brenda Kay Nelson

Brenda Kay Nelson, 71, of Marmaduke was born February 23, 1949 to Carl and Charlotte Carroll of Marmaduke and passed from this life on March 2, 2020 at her home.

She was a retiree of Emerson Electric and was very much loved by her children, grandchildren and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Hershel Nelson; her parents, Carl and Charlotte Carroll; sister Sharon Rutledge; infant sister Patty Carroll all of Marmaduke; and a brother Wayne Carroll of Marion, Ohio.

She is survived by three children, Angie (Scott) Crossno of Lafe, Warren Nelson of Marmaduke and Tonya (Michael) Miner of Paragould; six grandchildren, Jimmy (Tabitha) Phelps, Kalan Phelps, Chris (Kailee) Jones, Madison (Austin) Shelton, Kaylee Nelson, and Chad Hall; and one great-grandson, Colt Phelps.

Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 6:00 - 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 at Heath Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Morris officiating.
