Bobby M. Drope

Bobby "Bob" Morris Drope, 79, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was the son of the late Helen Marie Morris Drope and Perma Drope. He was retired from the Navy after 20 years of service and also was a retired Tenneco truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing at his cabin on the St. Francis river and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his grandkids and family. Bob was also preceded in death by his brother, John Drope.

Survivors include his loving wife of the home, Anna Lee Drope; sons, Bobby Lee Drope (Angie), of Paragould, Gary Drope (Tina), of Desoto, Missouri, and Kerry Murray (Amber), of Paragould; grandkids, Jessica Milton, Ashley Stone, Kristin Drope, Josh Murray, Jake Murray, Alex Murray, and Chandler Inskeep; brother, Joe Drope (Elouise), of Paragould; sisters, Dorothy Hamilton, Betty Pruitt, both of Paragould, and Landa Ashmore, of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

No services are planned upon Bobby's request.
