Bobbie Joe Fry, 79, of Paragould died, Thursday October 6, 2011, at Skilcare Nursing Home in Jonesboro. He was born April 21, 1932 in Cardwell, Missouri the son of the late William Coy and Florence Cora Adams Fry. His wife, Mary Louise Thomas Fry, sisters, Beverly Ann Brewington, Doris Copeland and brother, Jerry Melvin Fry also precede him in death. Bobbie Joe served as an United States Air Force Veteran as an Engineer serving in the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Japan. He then worked for Gates Lumber in Memphis. After moving to Paragould, he had is own lawn care and handyman business. He enjoyed fishing in the Mississippi River and woodworking. He is survived by his brother, Danny Lee Fry of Paragould and Sister, Peggy Jean Keefe of Nashville, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, October 10 at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated Tuesday, October 11, 10:00 AM at Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
