Billie Fern Mcmurry

Billie Fern McMurry, 87, of Lake City, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. Billie was born in Monette, Arkansas on June 21, 1933 to the late J.W and Emma Pierce Montgomery. She was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith. Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Truman McMurry; and son, Ricky McMurry.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Davis of Lake City; brothers, Frankie (Carolyn) Montgomery of Batesville, Gary Montgomery of Jonesboro, and Larry (Diane) Montgomery of Jonesboro; sisters, Reba Jones of Flint, Michigan, and Charlene Henson of Caraway; grandchildren, Courtney Rand, Casey Rand, Sheena Thompson, Cheyenne McMurry, Travis McMurry; and great-grandchildren, Talon Rand, Jaelyn Rand, Casen Rand, Hunter Rand, Alexis Rand, Trevor Mangrum, Aiden Thompson, Cole Thompson, Asher Thompson, and Holland Thompson.

A graveside service will be held Friday at Cardwell cemetery starting at 1:00 p.m.
