Betty Jean Crow

May 11, 1932 — January 24, 2023

Betty Jean Crow, 90, of Paragould, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. She was born in Elba, Alabama, on May 11, 1932, to the late James and Vannie Bowers. Betty married Larry Crow on October 9, 1962. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Betty enjoyed bowling, and she was known by her family as being the #1 shopper of QVC. Betty was also known as the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She rarely, if ever, missed an Alabama football game. In fact, Saturday plans were always made around the football schedule. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vannie Bowers; husband, Larry Crow; son, Bill Crow; sisters, Glennie King and Margie Casey; son-in-law, Ronald Merrill; and sister-in-law, Mary Bowers.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Betty Lynn Merrill of Avon, Indiana, Barbara (David) Tinder of Wichita, Kansas, and Linda Smith of Paragould; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and brother, Royce Bowers.
