Betty Augusta Chunn

Betty Chunn, 90, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was retired from Emerson Electric and of the Baptist faith. Betty was the daughter of the late James and Augusta Melton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Chunn; five brothers, John, Wiley, Sherman, Vick and James Melton; and one sister, Selma Olivia Walthall.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Chunn, Paragould; step-daughter, Wanda Ann Hubbert, Victorville, California; sister, Alma Harvey, Paragould; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-7 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Friday at 1 PM with Rev. Eddie Gene Wright officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
