Austin Hagan

Uba "Austin" Hagan, 76, passed away Monday at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He retired from being the principal at Woodrow Wilson Elementary after many years of service. He is the son of the late Uba Ulysess Hagan and Edith Ladd Hagan. He is also preceded in death by sisters Linda Jo Hagan and Freda Elizabeth Hagan Miller.

Survivors include long time friend and companion, Teena Batten; daughters Tara Harper (Brad), of Mt. Home, Jennifer Wilhite (Chris), of Jonesboro, and Ashley Stanfill, of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Kenzie and Camden Harper, Kyler, Katelyn, Kaden, Sophie, Annabeth, and Molly Wilhite, Ty Gramling, Allie Thrasher, Harrison Hutcheson, and Layton Stanfill; and niece, Michelle Miller Byers.

Visitation will be Thursday night from 5:00-7:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 12:30 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Marion Gramling and Rev. Nathan Gramling officiating. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery in Ravenden, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Rudy Powell, Ty Gramling, Kyler Wilhite, Chris Wilhite, David Johnston, and Brad Harper.
