Auntie Jane Cochran

January 5, 1915 — November 20, 2008

Elizabeth Jane Cochran, 93 of Jonesboro, formerly of Paragould, died Thursday at St. Bernard's Village. Jane was a beautician for 40 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was active in the Hospital Auxilary, a member of the Founders' Circle of the Endowment Foundation of Greene County, and Greene County Women's Charitable Endowment. Auntie Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Cochran; parents, Ernest and Leona Hogland Bast; and sister, Kay Todd. She is survived by her sister, Anna Brass of Jonesboro; nieces and nephews, Mary Ann and Dewayne Allen of Paragould and Martha and Alan Refkin of Ft. Myers, Florida; great nephews, Jay and Lesle Allen of Jonesboro, John and Kassie Allen of Paragould, and David Lynn of Chicago, Illinois; great niece, C.J. and Mark Beck of Petersburg, Illinois; great-great nieces, Jessica Allen, Grace Allen, Anna Joy Allen, and Mary Leigh Allen, all of Jonesboro, Alison Jones of Petersburg, Illinois, Catie Lynn of Chicago, Illinois; great-great nephews, Daniel Allen of Jonesboro, John Allen, Jr. of Paragould, Cooper and Parker Beck of Petersburg, Illinois and Robbie Lynn of Chicago, Illinois. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Letchworth officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial may be sent to the First United Methodist Church P.O.
