Annie Bernice Ward Headley

Annie Bernice Ward Headley, 85, of Paragould, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. She was born September 15, 1927 in Craighead County, Arkansas the daughter of the late Samuel Francis "Windy" and Charlcie Ruth Wallace Wade. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Ward, second husband, Bill Headley, sister, Fay Sims, and nephew, Jerry O. Sims. Annie and her husband Robert Ward were retired owners/operators of Ward's Grocery and Polled Herford Farm. She was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by her brothers: Henry Wade and Luther Ray Wade, both of Walnut Ridge; very special friends Avery and Frances Edwards; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and several step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:00 AM, Monday, with Rev. Wilburn Griggs officiating.
