Andrew Jackson Perry

Andrew Jackson Perry, 97 formerly of Light, AR passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. Born August 30, 1913, in Bernie, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, L. W. Perry and mother, Elvie Proffer Perry; brothers, Ory, Elvis and Charles Perry; sisters, Lena Clapp, Nora Perry, Aliena Perry and Irene Bellah; wives, Minnie Francis Davis Perry and Irene Book Perry; son, J. C. Cannady; daughter, Jewell Book. Survivors include brothers; Earl Perry of Light, AR and Elwood Perry of Michigan; sister, Francis Covington Cox of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Mary Watson of Cave City, AR, Lacona Dickey of Harrison, AR; son Octavis “Art” Cannady of Bella Vista, AR. 19 grandchildren and a host of great and great great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00-11:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Bob Carter officiating.
