Amy L. Gardner

Amy L. Gardner, 91 of Marmaduke took her heavenly flight on Sunday at the Greene House Cottage of Belle Meade. She was a retired teacher who had taught in Turrell, Marmaduke and Kennett. She was of the Methodist faith.

Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Gardner, parents, Lee and Vashti Trantham Hass; brothers, Charles, Crillon, Cleo and Curtis; sister Willyne Thompson Jordan.

Survivors include her son, Tim (Paula) Gardner of Marmaduke; sister, Joan Conklin of South Dakota; grandsons, Kyle (Alicia) Gardner and Drew (Grayce) Gardner, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM on the Heath Chapel with Rev. Bill Muse officiating. Burial will follow in Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Gardner, Drew Gardner, Larry Thompson, Kenny Vangilder, Brett Gibson and Bruce Gibson.

Memorials may be sent to Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery or the Marmaduke School.
