Alvin Ray Miller
March 25, 1938 — July 25, 2020
Alvin Ray Miller 82 of Light, AR, died on Saturday at Five Rivers Medical in Pocahontas. Alvin was a Farmer and a member of the Stanford Baptist Church. Alvin and Betty were married for 62 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Morgan Miller and Elizabeth Bashers Miller; 12 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Miller of the home; daughter, Debra (Don) Sharp of Jonesboro; son, Charles Miller of Light; sister, Dora Decker of St. Louis; grandchildren, Shayla Miller, Dylan Sharp, Dara Beth Sharp; granddaughter-in-law, Anna Marie Sharp; great-grandchildren Samuel and Andrew Weiss.
Visitation will be Monday from 1:00-2:00 PM at Stanford Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Adam Bruton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
