Alma Huffman

Alma Huffman, 88, of Paragould, died Saturday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was born April 30, 1919 in Beech Grove, Arkansas the daughter of the late Jess and Ethel Fears. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Huffman, grandson, Brian Cathey, sister, Inez Bibb and brother, Troy Fears. She was a farmer and a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Don Huffman of Walcott; daughters, Dessie Huffman of St. Charles, Missouri, Geraldine Huffman of St. Peters, Missouri, Bonnie Cathey of Scotsville, Kentucky, Sue Liles of Seabrook, Texas; sisters: Bertha Jetton of Paragould, Francis Walker of Doniphan, Missouri, Shirley Blankenship of Pocahontas; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 Sunday night at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
