Alice Earline Abell

Alice Earline Abell, 83, of Paragould, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born March 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Bill and Verda Hyde. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lawson Hyde and an infant granddaughter. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Wayne Abell; sons: Dennis (Patti) Abell of Jonesboro, David (Mary) Abell of Nairobi, Kenya, Jeff (Kori) Abell, of Merritt Island, FL; daughter: Rebecca (Robert) Mahurin Mutz, of Bella Vista, AR; grandchildren: Emily, Holly, Meagan, and Manny Abell, Eric (Keesha) Mahurin, Kimberly (Chris) Beauchamp, four great grandchildren; sisters: Melba (Dave) McNally of Kirkland, Washington, Linda (Joe) Wood of Graceville, Florida and several nieces and nephews. A public rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday with visitation following from 6:30-8:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Richard Cleary, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
