Albert E. Mcginnis

Albert Eugene McGinnis, 78, of Paragould, died Friday at his residence. Gene was a retired Deputy Sheriff and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He served as a Deputy Sheriff under former Sheriff Dan Langston. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mabel McGinnis; wife, Mary McGinnis; daughter, Retha Kappleman; sister, Ellen Monnier; and brother, Richard McGinnis. Survivors include granddaughters, Danna (Darrell Savior) Woods and Diedra (Logan) Crossno of Paragould; great-grandsons, Jamal Savior and Jax Crossno, both of Paragould. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes or the Diabetes Foundation.
