Patricia June Getson

Patricia June Getson, 79, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday at her residence. She was born at home in Ashville, Ohio and retired from Monroe Automotive after 33 years of service and loved talking to people . Patricia was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late Emory and Florence Payne Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Getson and sister, Fern Diltz.

Survivors include her daughter, Terrie Morton of Paragould; sons, Jimmy (Debbie) Getson of Ozark Acres, Keith (Renae) Getson of Paragould; step-mother Betty Noggle of Circleville, OH: brother, Bobby (Kathy) Smith of Circleville, OH; sisters, Betty Lou (Marvin) Wilson of Circleville, OH., Sally (Dean) Sisson of Grove City, OH and Melinda (Terry) Mikruta of Laurlville, OH; grandchildren, Wendy Vickers, Penny Getson, Misty Curtis, Dallas Getson, Brandi Earnest, Matthew Getson, Mallory Getson and Kyle Morton; twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday at 10 AM at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Todd Clifford, Frankie Swindle, Patrick Baine, Randy Gray, Sammy Manners, and Paul Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons and great grandsons.
