Arlie D. Thacker

Arlie D Thacker, 75, of Paragould, passed away Saturday at the Green House Cottages of Belle Meade. He was born in Paragould and retired from the City of Paragould in the Public Works department after 38 years of service. He loved to fish and enjoyed anything outdoors and was a member of the Paragould Church of God. Arlie was the son of the late Glendon and Mary Marie Cole Thacker. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Farron Thacker and Glendon Thacker, brother-in-law, Harold Rogers.

Survivors included sisters, Dora Arant of Biggers, Vonda Rogers of Ripley, Miss., Brenda Pankey and Darlene Jarrett of Paragould; brothers, Clifford Thacker of Lanette, AL., Harley Thacker of Paragould and Jerry Thacker of Oak Grove Heights; Fourteen nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 10:00 with Revs. Bradley Warbritton, Joseph Pankey and Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Epasaba Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Cody Pankey, Joseph Pankey, Bradley Warbritton, Jody Pankey, Richard Bass and Heath Thacker.
