U.S. Veteran

Joseph John Egbert, 53, of Paragould, died Monday, in Jackson County. He was born April 15, 1959 in Hamilton Ohio the son of the late John Henry, Jr. and Georgia Egbert. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and two sisters. After a career in the Air Force, Joseph was medically discharged during the Gulf War. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with cars and car models, and video games.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Egbert of the home; children: Joseph Waite Egbert-Camp of Washington, Morgan Marie Egbert of Edmond, OK; John Francis Egbert of Yuba City, CA; eight brothers and sisters, and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, with a celebration of his life following at 3:00 PM, all at Heath Colonial Chapel. Military honors will be held on the front lawn, following the service. Memorials may be sent to Juvenille Diabetes Association, 381 Park Avenue S. STE 507, NY, NY 10016.
