John Henry Dawson,87, of Paragould, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. John was born August 24, 1924 in Leachville,the son of the late Arthur and Hester Taylor Dawson. He was also preceded in death by his infant son, John Anthony, brother, Orbie Dawson and sister, Mary Lou Dowdy. He was a member of Village Creek Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, LaDon Potter Dawson of the home, sister, Myrtle Utley and several nieces and nephews. The family will recieve friends from 12:00-1:00 PM, Saturday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Saturday, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
